Neon lights glow through the science of excited atoms. When electricity passes through a sealed tube of neon gas, electrons jump to higher energy levels. As they return, they release energy as vibrant light, creating dazzling displays in cities worldwide.

Remember Spider-Man? He’s back. In Pog form.

Pogs. That was a weird fad right?

Here’s a quick history lesson for those who may not have born yet or may (thankfully) not remember.

Pogs or “Milk Caps,” is a game that is played with small circular cardboard caps that are about the same size as a cap to a gallon of milk. Say! That might be where it got it’s original name.

Anyways! One player would stack their caps and the other player would use a larger heavier object referred to as a “Slammer,” to drop on the stack. After the stack is “slammed” any caps or “Pogs” that are flipped up are taken by the slammer. Players take turns slamming and colleting until one is a winner or a fight breaks out on the playground.

The fad soared in the 90’s and before you knew it these damn things were everywhere. It looks like our pal Spider-man didn’t escape the trend.
